In winter of weather it's always better to be prepared..
If you have to go out, here's a few things to remember to keep in your vehicle:

If you do find yourself trapped in your vehicle:
Stay in the car.
Do not leave the car to search for assistance unless help is visible within one-hundred yards. You may become disoriented and lost
With temperatures and moisture dropping across the state, drivers need to, once again, be cautious.
A few driving tips to remember:
To avoid skids, brake carefully and gently "squeeze" brakes
If your city declares a snow emergency, remember: there is no parking on emergency snow routes, for the entire time of the snow emergency.
All car parked on the routes will be ticketed or towed.
